Pnda Gaming is a North American eSports team that currently has teams in Call of Duty, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and Halo 5: Guardians.

Halo 5: Guardians

Pnda Gaming declared its entry into the Halo scene on March 10, 2016, announcing a roster of Andrew "JR2" Sychtysz, Jared "MudVayne" Keenan, Joseph "SickStory" Ebbs and Jack "Buffet".[1] This roster achieved no notable tournament placings. During the qualifying stages for the Summer 2016 HCS Pro League, JR2 and MudVayne unsuccessfully attempted to qualify for the league as members of Ambush. MudVayne was then replaced on the official Pnda roster by Jake "Psylince".[2] With the acquisition of Psylince, Pnda attempted to qualify for the Pro League through the Last Chance Qualifier but could not manage the top 2 placing required to qualify.

Months later, Pnda formed a new roster for 2050 Chattanooga consisting of Blake "Mr Blakerz" Kottke, Rob "ROB THE TURTLE" O'Connor, Dominic "BotchyHawk" Demilio and Amorist "FireBird" Johnson. They finished in the top 6 at the event. After Chatt, Pnda replaced FireBird with "Triton" and began competing in the Fall 2016 Open Circuit. Within weeks, BotchyHawk was replaced by a returning Psylince, but the team was unable to establish itself as a top contender in the Open Circuit. The roster was eventually released.

Weeks later, Pnda acquired a new roster consisting of four veteran pros - Scott "Cloud" Holste, Ryan "RyaNoob" Geddes, Faisal "Goofy" Khan and Gabriel "Gabriel" Funes-Soto.[3] They attended UGC St. Louis 2016, where they finished 4th, good enough to qualify for the Esports Minor League Fall 2016 Season. They then attended HCS Las Vegas 2016 with the intent of qualifying for Relegation. They finished 4th, falling short of their goal after a close loss to 6S Gaming.

Going into the ESML roster lock, Pnda made changes, releasing RyaNoob and Goofy and bringing in rising amateur players Tristan "Brainstorm" Gurudeo and Josbe "Tapping Buttons" Valadez. After going 0-2 in their first week, Pnda replaced Tapping Buttons with Nicola "V t3ct9" Rios.

On January 16th, 2017, Pnda released its roster and signed the recently formed pro-seeded roster of Carlos "Cratos" Ayala, Brett "Naded" Leonard, Cory "Str8 SicK" Sloss and Kyle "Nemassist" Kubina.[4] At their first event - UGC St. Louis 2017 - the Pnda roster came out flat with a first-round loss to SetToDestroyX. In Losers, they swept Primal, but were defeated in the following round by Luminosity Gaming, finishing in the top 12 and leaving the event as the only pro seeded team to not take a top 8 placing. After the mediocre placing, Pnda released Nemassist and replaced him with Dan "Danoxide" Terlizzi. At ME Las Vegas 2017, things started off bleak for Pnda, as they took a humbling 4-0 loss from Team Liquid in their first chance to qualify for Halo World Championship 2017. In Losers, Pnda took out Wise Gaming 4-1 to earn another shot at Worlds against Team Allegiance, who they defeated 4-2 in a dramatic series to qualify. Their run continued on Sunday with a 4-2 victory over Str8 Rippin before it was finally ended in 4th place with a 4-1 loss to Team EnVyUs. The following week, the Pnda roster was released by the organization, with Cratos confirming that the team would be using the Crowd Pleasers name going forward.[5]
