Team CryptiK is an American esports organization.

History

Halo 5: Guardians

Team CryptiK made its entry onto the Halo scene on March 2nd, 2017, picking up top amateur team TBD - consisting of Ezekiel "Prototype" Martinez, Ryan "RyaNoob" Geddes, Troy "DasTroyed" Dusman and Hunter "BabyJ" Schline[1], a top ranked amateur team at the time. Going into ME Las Vegas 2017, the team looked to overcome the odds and qualify for Halo World Championship 2017 with a top 6 placing. They started off well with a thrilling 3-2 upset over Evil Geniuses, followed by a hard fought 2-4 loss to Team EnVyUs. In their first Losers Bracket match, they met Team Allegiance, who defeated them 4-2 in a tightly contested series. Following Vegas, CryptiK released BabyJ and picked up Devon "PreDevoNatoR" Layton. In the Last Chance Qualifier, CryptiK were able to defeat Splyce, Team Allegiance and Evil Geniuses, earning a spot in the Grand Finals, but Splyce battled through the Losers Bracket to earn a rematch. Splyce were able to win two consecutive best-of-7s to take 1st place and deny CryptiK a spot at Worlds.
